What does rent include?
For your convenience, rent is very inclusive. High-speed Internet, HD cable, 42" flat-panel mounted HDTV in the living room, water, sewer, trash, and gas are included in your installment payments.
What is an individual lease?
An individual lease is a “per bed” lease. You sign a lease for a bed in the apartment and share common areas with roommates. This allows you to live with roommates without having to worry whether they’re going to pay on time!
Ten (academic year) & twelve month (full year) leases are available
Do you allow subleasing?
Yes, as long as it is a full-time Marquette student. We recommend that you also speak with your roommates and enlist their help to find a new roommate. The earlier you begin your search for a sublettor, the greater your chances of finding one.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed! Pets must meet certain requirements & are subject to additional fees.

How do I pay my bill?
All rent payments are made through the Marquette University Bursar's office by following this link. Other payments such as utilities, parking and pet rent can be paid through the Resident Portal
What floor plans are available?
The Marq has a variety of fully furnished floor plans, including studio, one, two, three, and four-bedroom plans in both loft and suite styles.
Is parking available?
We offer a variety of parking options including a on-site, covered, heated garage.
Your comfort is important to us, so at The Marq you don’t have to suffer through the cold winter waiting for your car to warm up!
I know the front doors to the apartments have locks, but do the individual bedrooms lock?
Yes, each bedroom door has a separate lock and key so residents can secure their room when away.
Where can I do my laundry?
The Loft building offers one large laundry room on the main floor of the building. The Suites building has a laundry room on each floor.
Are there study areas?
The Lofts building offers one study room per floor and a community clubhouse that are available to use by all residents 24/7.
The Suites building offers study lounges on each floor and available to use by all residents 24/7.
Do you have a maintenance staff?
Yes, we have maintenance available during office hours as well as a 24-hour emergency maintenance service.
Do staff live on-site?
Yes, Residence Hall Directors are full-time professional staff members who have offices and live in each building. They help develop the sense of community you'll experience from the day you move in and provide support during your residency at The Marq.
How do I get to campus?
The Marq is conveniently located on the Marquette University campus. We are also on the #30 bus route and the Marquette University Limo Service route, so it’s easy to get around.
